Site mapping and why you need it

Why do I need a Sitemap?

XML Sitemaps are the only way to be sure all of your site's pages are listed faster, and placed higher, in search results.
That's why the first thing Google does when it crawls your site is to look for an XML Sitemap. Without an XML Sitemap it is much more difficult, and often impossible, for search engines to find all the pages in your site, resulting in slower and incomplete indexing. On average, our customers find they only have 20% of their pages listed on Google before signing up.

The Old Way

Creating and maintaining an up-to-date and accurate XML Sitemap is complex and tedious. Each time your website changes, you must update the XML file and submit it to each search engine manually. Worse yet, files with formatting errors are rejected by search engines without any notification to you.

The AutomaticSiteMap Way

It takes just minutes to setup an AutomaticSiteMap account. Once you sign up, you never have to worry about your Sitemap again. We'll automatically find all the pages on your website, even the ones search engines can't find. Then we properly format them into your XML Sitemap, and submit it to the major search engines on a regular schedule.

Index Tracking

Not only do we do all the work creating and submitting your Sitemap, we also keep track of your website's performance in the major search engines. Each and every day, we count the number of pages the search engines list for each of your sites. Our valuable charting system shows how the number of listed pages changes over time for different search engines. Many other important tools are also available through your account dashboard.
